Bill Rudd “Best Vette” Honorary Trophy
1956 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Owner - Zack Bomkamp Cincinnati , OH Over thirty years ago a small group of people, including Bill Rudd, started the first Concours d'Elegance with a twofold purpose. First, it was an event to raise monies for the many worthwhile activities of the Arthritis Foundation. Secondly, it was an opportunity for local car collectors to socialize and share their interest in cars. Bill and his family have managed the entry gates of the Concours ever since. Bill's favorites were the Corvettes, particularly the earlier straight axle cars. Bill succumbed to the effects of his severe arthritis in 2007. We honor his 30-year participation by presenting the annual Bill Rudd best Corvette Award… an award that continues to be selected by the Rudd family. |
